Mrs. McFunny’s Five Question Answers

You see my hubby is Mr. McFunny .. so that makes me the Mrs!  =)

1. What is the one thing your love does for you that you can’t live without?

Mr. McFunny brings me hot coffee in bed most mornings… this is how he wakes me!  I tell him he is raising the bar for other hubbys and he will get beat up for it…. but he loves me and he can’t help himself!  Or maybe, just maybe he knows it is the only way to get my lazy bones out of bed, I dunno?!  =)

Wait he does dishes too… I love that he does my dishes for me (most of the time) =)   have I ever told ya… I would rather dig a ditch or clean a toilet than do those nasty repetitive chores like dishes and laundry!!??    I mean where do they come from anyway… didn’t I just put them away?!

2. When did you know your love was “the one”?

Honestly, um…  I don’t remember!!  ah!!!  It was all so fast and blissful!!

3. Does your love have a special ringtone on your cell?

Nope!  I am lucky to even carry a cell.   LOL!  I barely use my pay as you go phone.  When I am going out  or driving, I am out or driving!   When I want to ‘get away’  ~ I really want to be away!  Though I do like having one to check in if I am running late!

4. What are you attracted to most in your special someone?

Those darn baby blues!!  And that never ceasing sly sense of humor!  Mr. McFunny has a sly sneaky quiet way with words ~  most people can’t resist the laughter that follows his words!  I am proud of him for his amazingly  sly, quiet, never crude, funny sense of humor that captures  smiles and laughter of many!

5. Did you know when/where he/she was going to pop the big question?

He hates it when I tell people I did… I knew he was late picking me up for our ‘hike’ to the waterfalls because he didn’t know that Costco opened at 11 on Saturdays.  He was supposed to pick me up at 10.  I also knew he waited until the last minute to buy my ring, because he is just like that.  I knew that He didn’t have a Costco card so it would take longer to pick up my ring than he thought… I just knew he would finally cave and buy me the ring I wanted at Costco because it really was “the one” I wanted!!  And every time his sister (whom I lived with) would say… “Where is he… he is never late” (true)  I smiled… I “knew” where he was.. I was perfectly happy he was ‘late’ !!  Not to mention the guy was so nervous he had that furrowed brow he always gets when he is nervous or frustrated!    He hates that he is so predicable to me!  =)

We have a full weekend planned of cleaning, decorating, baking, crafts, and just this wee little sewing sleepover party for charity!   I am excited about this little sewing party my daughter and I are hosting!!  With permission from the mom’s ~ I will post about it next week!  I can’t think of anything sweeter to me than spending Valentines Day with my little girl and friends ~ sewing little pocket sized hearts with love for a Children’s Charity on Valentines Day!

(well… it is lacking romance… but love is not always romance, right!)  ha ha

Happy Friday Folks ~  See y’all tomorrow!

What great answers!!! Your hubby sounds absolutely great -and you sound spoiled! 🙂 Good combo! 🙂 I’ll have to stay tuned – your sewing party for charity sounds very sweet. I’m not a sewer, but moms, charity – mother/daughter event…all sounds right up my alley…if we lived closer, you bet I’d be there! Can’t wait to hear all about it!

That is so sweet about when he proposed. I was totally caught off guard when hubby did, in fact it had been a really long day and I was sooooo pooped, I just wanted him to leave – LOL – glad he stayed a few minutes longer 🙂

I totally agree that this week it has been neat to discover there are so many women that experience the same kind of love that I do and gush over their husbands.
It his absolutely wonderful that God brought me the man that I needed.

You’re funny. I love when Andy makes me coffee, though he doesn’t do it every day.

I knew he was proposing on the day he did only because he made a day long experience of it. It was pretty crazy.

I’ve been wondering where you’d gone– I’m so glad I finally found your new blog address! I love it– it’s beautiful!

You’re just like my friend, “J”. She also has a pay as you go phone, and she NEVER turns it on. It’s impossible to get ahold of her!

Hi, thanks for your comments on my post (Our Cup of Tea)–on the Homeschool Hop! I responded to your questions (about England) there since I only just now found your blog! I read on your description where you’re a fan of good chocolate…I assume since you lived in England for a short time, you must like Cadbury’s? No one I’ve met in England cares for our American chocolate. LOL!

You definitely have a winner there. Enjoy all the fun this weekend. I hope you post about the pocket hearts – that sounds like something my daughter would love to do.

What a sweet guy! Your cell phone issues crack me up… I am permanently attached to my crackberry, can’t live without it. My husbands ringtone on it is “It’s Business Time” by the Flight of the Choncords, which causes me endless glee. 🙂 I wish I’d found your blog before V-day!! I would have answered these fun questions with you!
