Sunday’s post is Something I look forward to every week now …

if I could only get it up and running on Sunday and not 12 am …the next day!!  haha!!

Sunday  Scavenger Hunt

It’s A photography thing… =)

Hosted by Ashley!!

Every week the list of 5 things to capture changes…

Add’s a little Fun & Adventure to your week… try it sometime!!

1.  Black and White

A cold fountain… outside my new Chiropractors office… a fountain I have overlooked many times in the last 30 days… until it froze… funny that!  Still hoping a chiropractor is going to be my miracle for my recent neck issues and my ongoing back issues since carrying my babies!!  sheesh… who knew I’d fall apart before I turn 40!!  =)  takin life one day at a time!

2.  I Ate This…

My sister KK cooked the BEST bird I have ever eaten … Bobby Flay style!!

Sorry Ree!  =)  Juicy… tender… Fabulous!!   Thanks KK!!

3.  Historic

My little man and I went on an adventure this week… for another blogger… I hope to post about our fun this week… hope is the key word there… I hope to do many many things!!  ha ha!!  anyway… this State Seal is over 100 years old… you can find it on the floor of our State Capital building!!  The design of the State Seal is also on our State Flag… and government stationary… =)  I was a nanny for the great great great great? grandchild of the designer of our State Seal…   just in case you wanted to know that… =)  I don’t want to talk about the fact that he has now graduated college!!

moving on…

4.  Off Center

OK.. so maybe I am stretching this one a bit??  maybe?  and it is even blurry… (stupid broken camera)  (I have to say that at least once a week!!)   Anyway… I love this pic… a funny moment on our Thanksgiving day… the Turkey bones are in that waist bin!!   Meet … Lady and the Tramp!!  poor pooches!

5.  The End

Beautiful sight at the End of Thanksgiving Day…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~“`
Speaking of the end….
Thanksgiving day was Sadie’s last day on earth…
She was my sister KK’s dearly loved pet for 13 plus years… emotional times… she was having a hard time walking in the last few months… and could hardly stand Thanksgiving Day… She was loved dearly!!  Please say a prayer for my sister’s broken heart this week!!   Love you KK!!
Good bye Sadie…
Never easy… hard times!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

now I am at a loss for words to finish up this post…

*sigh*

This is my first year blogging…

I am nearly a month away from the one year mark when I started this lil ole blog… =)   I am having a blast…I love the community of amazing ladies I have found here… (thats you)  😉  But… I am finding some seasons are challenging to keep up with blogging and my regular every day life!!  =)  I apologize for the random disappearances I seem to be having… Disappearances seem to happen more often than I seem to have regular appearances!!  ha ha!!  Apparently I started blogging in my “slow” season of life (January) and well… once Spring hit … My blogging was hit with all the random disappearances!!  I guess I am Just Seizing My Days, thus…  letting this little ole blog sit and wait for me!!

Do you find that too?  Do you find  some seasons harder than others to keep up with blogging??  So far I guess 3 out of 4 season seem harder for me!! haha!  or I am just having a harder time multitasking b/c I am getting old?!!  or maybe it is b/c I am scatterbrained b/c I stay up way WAY too late!!   either way… my pillow just called and said I am late!

Good Night Every body!

Jenn~

    the loss of a pet is never an easy thing. sorry for her loss.

    great pictures!

    yes, I too go through phases on my blog. I have been blogging for almost 3 years now and my blog has changed a lot over the years. I also find that I go through phases of what I do and don’t blog about as well as when I do and don’t blog.

    life is a work in progress…. shouldn’t your blog be too?

    Oh, yeah – some seasons I’m so busy, I don’t get to blogging, and some season I’m so boring I don’t have anything interesting to blog about! Either way, I have disappearances once in a while, too! I think it’s the nature of the beast.

    I like your B&W photo…our outside fountain is starting to look very similar.

    I’m so sorry to hear about your sister’s dog. That is a very hard thing to go through and I will say a prayer for her.

    It’s definitely a trick sometimes to keep up with it all. Actually it’s a trick 365/365. Life takes precedence as it should, so you’re forgiven for any absences!

    Very cool shots – I like your black and white alot…also your “the end.” Great work!

    Ugh, so sad for your sister. Losing a pet is always heart-wrenching.

    I definitely find my blogging is a “Seasonal thing”! ha ha

    So sorry about your sisters dog. We are squeezing every last day with ours. We aren’t really sure what to do..but aren’t quite ready to have him put to sleep yet. So sad.

    So..I’ll have to check out the bobby flay bird. We use the pioneer woman recipe and I love the brining but this year was the first year our bird was dry. NOt sure why?? Maybe I didn’t brine it long enough. Or ..maybe I overcooked it. Ah who knows. I can’t seem to remember from year to year what I did the the year before!!

    Hope all is well!!

    The holiday season / end-of-the-year time definitely is tougher on me, too. I find myself taking the odd day off here and there as well.

    So sorry about Sadie.

  • 11 Julianne yazmış:

    oh i definitely find it hard to keep up with the blogging, especially once back to work! oh well, we will keep each other company anyways!

    Sorry to hear about your sister’s pup! She will be dearly missed I’m sure.

    I love the fountain picture…I had no idea what it was until you explained it!

    I don’t have much time for blogging either. Now that I have 2 kids in preschool and a whole lot going on with selling the house, I don’t have much time to sit down and write a blog each day. I try my best though.

    Thanks for your comment on my blog. You have some good choices this week. I think my favorite is the ‘black and white’! Also liked to ‘I ate this’ and would like to cook one just like that! Thinking of KK and her loss.
    Blessings for a good week!

    I like your list. Also, I love your adventure with OMSH geography lesson. I don’t have kids to do that with, but I was glad to see all the folks who jumped in to share their part of the world. Good for you!
